My aesthetic eyes paint a picture
An angel views things with rapture
Keeping me in trance with glance
The world appreciates her dance

She chuckles tickling my heart
Awakening the love kept apart
Emotions flow with final felicity
Keeping imagination in captivity

Her wondrous eyes work miracles
Enthralling my eyes with spectacles
Ecstasy emerges as fruit of eternity
To be savoured with supreme sanity

The eternal truth touches my mind
Arousing my sensibility unbound

My alarm clock screeched
At the stroke of twelve
“You are sweet sixty”
I think it is extremely old
To perform its duties gold
It greeted me with music
To fill me with lofty logic
When it was so strong
My life seemed a song
I no longer hear its mirth
On the day of my birth

A cuckoo strikes a note
Loveliness it does denote
The advent of spring is near
I have no reason to fear
The waning winter craves for
The onset of sparkling spring
I look forward to its splendour
Greeting me with wonder
My life shows its grandeur
Showing gorgeous glory
My smile scripts my story

I sauntered through the meadow
As various flowers made a show
Each flower wore a smile aglow
Encharming my eyes with its flow

All flowers giggled with a glance
I stood there to grasp their stance
Dazzling show of delightful dance
Kept all my concerns at a distance

The snow-clad mountain clapped
As the flowers remained clasped
The fantastic fragrance I grasped
Abandoning fear of being trapped

Modern ills have the cure of nature
Nature’s touch heals human nature

When I observe nature
I often cherish rapture
A bird nesting in glee
Can not expect melee

A bird has a dream for life
To relish the cream of life
Lead life in gleamy glory
To script a spendid story

A nest shows creative skill
Bestowed to nature’s thrill
A bird never makes a shrill
To keep its creativity still

Its flight is without plight
For it is meant for delight
We should forget all plight
To reach in life great height

A bird often fulfils its need
Without nurturing any greed
When we often breed greed
We keep others in dire need

A nestless bird is out of place
A bird at rest is commonplace
An unquiet man is out of peace
His pride is often out of grace

The ills of man fill his busy life
Imprisoning him in cell of strife
The mind is a devil’s workshop
Ignoble notions require a stop

Let us be like birds in delight
Keeping all vices out of sight

I enjoyed the bliss of childhood
I played games during boyhood
I used to swim in village ponds
Fostering affluent affinity bonds

Climbing was an elegant exercise
It reflected enchanting enterprise
Trees and hills were never spared
Certain occasions we often dared

Pilfering went on to visit the town
Grandma’s money was not grown
Confessions fascinated all wrath
Then we practised lying as a path

Villagers considered me playful
I thought that I was not harmful
I had the place of pride in hearts
Nurturing affection without parts
