MY PARADISE REGAINED

Persistent palm trees stand in prominence
Recalling .my childhood spent in elegance
The sky and the earth stirred with all mirth
My early rapture reverberated on the earth

Tokens of childhood treasured in my mind
Tremendously enable my heart to be kind
Transcending bounded personal pleasure
Creating timeless treasure above measure

Marching memories become relics of past
Revitalising the present with epics of craft
The Art of Living crafted from my childhood
Has facilitated my acquisition of sagehood

The recital of stanzas by my divine mother
Still ring in my ears generating fine weather
The melody of her voice.sent all vibrations
Her uniqeness sparkled without equations

LET US BE HALE AND HEARTY

I am the friend of all and a foe to none
I always see in others the Almighty one
I am the real friend sharing their sorrow
Striving to end it all for better tomorrow

As fair friends we usually work together
Toiling amid trials creating fine weather
We unfriend ourselves as unreal friends
Scribbling a silhouette of hideous fiends

We have faces to show our honest hearts
Casual glances at faces never blend parts
Poetry springig from all genuine emotions
Reflects in resplendence our noble notions

Our virtues reveal the strength of lofty love
Our vices refrain all of us from rising above
Let us be pure in thought,,speech.and deed
They enable our progress to be in the lead

STILL SPINNING THE WHEEL OF THE WORLD

The man was often seen wearing a loin cloth
He.led India to triumph showing perfect path
His courage to spin the wheel was applauded
His tremendous toil for all people was lauded

He often practised peerless religious tolerance
Uniting.all secular people exercising endurance
Tolerating the brunt of the British Regime..brute
He steered the struggle finding the rarest .route

The fun of the gun was not allowed on the run
The man stood steadfast.as India’s fairest son
He raised truthfully triumphant torch of peace
With nonviolence he shredded violence apiece

Gandhi proved that a man could curb violence
Fighting bravely with the torch of non-violence
With India’s freedom.he glowed with splendour
Creating in all parts of the world a great wonder
