Poems by Edmond Shallvari

My kiss is a miracle feat

Never continue as once I did
Doing less no one will see
My kiss is a miracle feat
Every boy just envies me.

It is not to brag and bliss
Maturity is a wonder sign
In this world all try a kiss
But they do not know mine.

It is nectar from the flower
the bee uses to make honey
Someone says stop all this bluster
I say, I’m not guilty my dear granny.

Guilty is the truth that speaks
Of this age of mastery
When I’m lost in my girl’s lips
Remain speechless orally.

My speech power is at worst
And my pen in air hover
I can hardly quench my thirst
With my kiss as an ardent lover.

Circle around Tunnel

From emigration to emigration of emigration
Spinning with the planet round the planet
From exploration to exploration of exploration
For a little light at the end of the tunnel.

But the tunnel has turned into a circle
Where the end does meet the start
We keep spinning for a lifetime
For a little light, be it of an oil-lamp.

And nobody ever thinks twice
But keeps spinning till the old age
There are Sisyphus in the tunnel
More than Sisyphus in a mountain range.
