BATMAN
Adam West 1928-2017

Ha sido nuestra ilusión
de infancia que se prolongó
hasta sentir caernos las alas
que el murciélago abrigaba
sobre el hombre.
Si nos abandonaban los demás,
el Batman llegaba
y en nuestra imaginación
brillaba su coraje,
como si el triunfo
estuviera en la esquina…
Ahora se fue la imagen,
el sueño y esta loca idea
de que todo en la injusticia
se puede cambiar de tono.
Las alas del Batman
eran falsas y volvieron
al pobre animal
de la buhardilla.

BATMAN
(Adam West, 1928-2017)

Foi nossa grande ilusão
da infância que se prolongou
até ao sentir-nos cair as asas
que o morcego abrigava
sobre o homem.
Se os outros nos abandonavam
o Batman chegava
e em nossa imaginação
brilhava sua coragem, como se o triunfo
estivesse ali na esquina…
Agora a imagem se foi,
com o sonho e esta louca idéia
de que tudo na injustiça
pode se mudar de tom.
As asas do Batman
eram falsas e voltaram
para o pobre animal
escondido no sótão.

BATMAN
1928-2017

He was our great illusion
of childhood that lasted
until we had the feeling that
the bat’s wings which
protected the man, fell down.
If the others, abandoned us
in trouble, we could
count on Batman, and in
our imagination,
triumph was right
at the corner.
Now his image is gone
and also this crazy idea
that all injustice can be
changed into justice.
Batman’s wings
were fake and returned
to the poor animal
hidden in the attic.
