the lofty moon / Poem by Sehma Helaa

Poem by Sehma Helaa
the lofty moon
when the moon sinks into the pond
do not land her a rope
when the tree rescues thy hand
do not shuffle the angry tide
unveil that lofty star
weave a flowered robe with the shining sand
here i am
watching the glory in that story
waiting for the moon
my tear to wipe and my hope to send .
when the sandy castles wears off
and the child in your dream stops playing
Do not nod ,do not add
Keep nourishing
that rosy happy tale that never comes to an end
when the dart of your wish
wants to clutch to a shaky bosom
made thy dream of you, streams of giggles
That never wane and never vanish
Go back to moon and seek the light in the swaying band.
