Jehovah / Poem by Asiimwe Simon J Rolands

Poem by Asiimwe Simon J Rolands

Jehovah

I put all my weight upon your shoulder
I throw all my burdens into your hand
I’m but a stone and you, the builder
You chose me for the castle that will always stand
You are but a father and me, the child
You let me hide in you when the storms come
I admit sometimes I act wild
You gather me still and protect me from harm
Your love means more than words can say
Your care can’t be paid with anything whatever…
Because you care each and everyday
Your love is precious today and forever.
