GOLDEN STAIRCASE

Threads of live electric currents
Raw and potent
Throbbing with charges
Penetrating persistently
Into magical realms of eternity
Walking down the golden staircase of sunlight
Befriending the barren earth
Droplets of life force
Fulfilling the thirst of a million
Parched oceans
Infusing miraculous shades of light and dark

Pitch black night smiling into a laughing dawn
Sleepy dusk rubbing it’s weary eyes and nodding off to dreamy wonderlands
Soft tendrils of green vines unfolding like winter love on
Snow White hair
Blood red roses grappling with your heart like grasping wrestlers of passion
Threads of raw electric currents
Raw and potent

SEALED WITH KISSES

No letters
sealed with kisses
No waiting on wooden fences with green painted gates
No swashbuckling soldiers cheerily traipsing home
No country roads either
To take you safely home
To the land you belong !

No bouquet of wild flowers
Shyly gathered in the dawn
No going to San Francisco
With flowers in your hair
No turkeys in wood ovens
Perfuming red cottages
No Balloons sailing lustily
In pregnant summer breeze

It’s pinging and posting now
And waiting for the red dots
That herald web visitors
Knocking on heaven’s door !
Social we are of course
Typing emotions galore !
No letters sealed with kisses
No waiting on wooden fences !
