BORN LAND

I was born in the village of Kokibel. It is located between the small mountains of Kazygurt, Ogem and Karzhan in the South Kazakstan region. In this photo there are several photos of our legendary sacred mountain Kazygurt. According to the legend it says that when the prophet Noah was flooded, the flood of water covered the weight of the globe. Noah on his carabloe swam for very long years. And when, for the first time, they saw the land, this is the former range of the sacred mountain of Kazygurt. And he stopped his ship at the very top of the mountain Kazygurt. And from there the human new life began.
Friends, do you know why I started talking about this story? Because in these verses I writered my native land, about my destva that passed here.

Thanks again to my friend-translator Yertai Nurbekov and Australian famous poet Ade Caparas Manilah for help in editing my own English translation!

KOKIBEL

Kokibel* – the place where I was born,
He gave happiness to my soul and I am happy for this at the sensation of emotions
The graceful river Keles* will started from here
My childhood started from its deep ravine
Holma’s Karakyr* looks from far away
Its excretes a frontier between two rods*
And below to the down, full of tasty sardines
And in the trees many birds singed a pretty brilliant
The next place over the hill – Oimoot*
There are a lot of horses, cows, sheep and goats
Generous Ogem* seemed to be appeared in order to
hunter nonstop for his beasts day and night
The river divides Maybulak* and the Kyzyl ata*
