Poem by Opal Ingram
Far Beneath The Sea
Upon his shadow sides
near the gloom
among the path-ways
beneath the sea
in a glare above
the mist far settle in the sands
we stood sense less
near the gloom of disarray
dull with love
in a room with despair
in a glare far beneath the sea.
We Lived
We shall not sleep
we lived scatter across
the air
like a rebel over boundless
earth,
You could not see me
I fly through the wind
through a batter branch
only to behold in a chanted peace
guided by the wind
We shall not sleep
we lived.
