POEMS, STORIES, NOVELLAS, ARTICLES, AND RESEARCH PAPERS INVITED FOR AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH, APRIL 2018
April is the Autism Awareness Month. Last year we had published an Anthology of Poems (on April 13). We have broadened the scope, adding short stories and articles to the social cause. It’s in keeping with our mission of Advocacy for Special Needs People, the world over.
Poem: One per poet, between 15 & 30 lines only (please mention your city and country)
Short Story: One per storyteller, 1000-4000 words.
Novella: One per person, not more than 15,000 words.
Article/Research Paper: One per author, 600-3000 words (articles) and up to 6000 words (research paper).
Last date of Submission: April 14, 2018 [upto 20:00 hrs (8:00 PM) Indian Standard Time.
Special Issue to be Published: In the third week of April.
NOTE: You may contribute in more than one category within the Deadline.
We welcome the celebrated poet, editor and social activist and our Contributing Editor, Luz María López. She has graciously consented to be the Consultant Editor, of the Special Issue on Autism.
Deeya Bhattacharya and Meenakshi M. Singh, two renowned poets are the co-editors for the Anthology.
Soumya Mukherjee, a well-known writer, and humourist is the co-editor of the prose section.
Anumita Chatterjee Roy, our Managing Editor, and Arindam Roy, Editor-in-Chief, are the two other members of the Editorial Board.
The decision of the Editorial Board shall be final and binding on all poets and writers.
You may please send one poem, short story, novella, article or research paper. However, you may contribute in multiple categories, as long as it is one piece, per category. Please ensure that your work is unpublished and/or unshared on social sites like FB, etc.
Please mention <Autism Awareness: Poems/Short Story/Novella/Article/Research Paper> in the subject line of the email.
All poets and authors, kindly mention, “This work is original and unpublished/unshared on social media, blog, and book.”
