As you Sow, you Reap / Poem by Sunita Paul

As you Sow, you Reap

U threw a challenge
Though I felt it so strange
We are poles apart
Why such bitterness in the heart?
U came as a sweet one
Then stood as an enemy in life’s long run
But thank God you hurt me
It was only when I could see
My strength and power
All my friends’ love shower
I stood all humiliation in silence
Because no protest could make sense
For i knew that the day I will roar
Show what I have in store
The day has come and success made its noise
All your supporters too have lost their voice
But nothing of these affects me anymore
Only the revenges I have kept in my heart’s core.
