Poems by Dr. Subhendu Kar
SANCTUM SANCTORUM
in eyes of humanity empathy is the sanctum sanctorium,
benevolence meditates to see light of love
as yet lost in maddened world of vanity tucked of hatred and anger.
in midst of dark tainted clouds eyes ruffle to see moon.
traffic squre seems to hold light less lamp with no colors
where to move to awaken soul at crss-cross
by crowd of silence we are mute melancholy in quest of quenching hunger
for a subtle loaf of joy to dine love and peace,
serene spree of heart with hassels of fear flay from layers of complex,
with speckles of red eyes triggers from fire of war
for humanity to preserve in cradle of dewfed dawn,
for halo brim of endearment to dissipate all through.
lest umble quest may not meet the impasse of scrambling fire in greed of tiger to denonounce sanity of shelter.
for mellow breath longing to belong into sanctuary societal,
for posterity to prolong onto infinite rhythm of diversity absolute.

speckles of red eyes triggers from fire of war
as humanity to preserve in cradle of dewfed dawn by sublime breath of green verdure.
for halo brim of endearment to dissipate all through.
lest umble quest may not meet the impasse of scrambling fire,
by the greed of tiger’s eyes to denonounce sanity of shelter.
