I have thrown my tongue into
A black hole of death and exiles
Can’t speak Persian anymore

Thinking of the spaces taken from me
Forcibly
Thinking of the hands taken from me
Forcibly
Thinking of the pens Btaken from me
Forcibly
Thinking of my tongue taken from me
Forcibly
Thinking of the futures taken from me
Forcibly
Thinking of you taken from me
Forcibly

Suffocated ones, Salam
Buried alive ones, Salam
Imprisoned ones, Salam
Abandoned ones, Salam
Exiled ones, Salam
How we’ve gotten here doesn’t matter
Salam
