the night melts blissfully (in palms of laughter – light) – Tatyana Terebinova / Translated by Lazirko Yuri

Poem by Tatyana Terebinova

the night melts blissfully (in palms of laughter – light)

in palms of laughter – light
and in the snow books – letters
in burgeon tones of wines
are hidden petals

the night melts blissfully
and leaves of lines are pouring
and angels of despair –
on passion and on blood

will build a lightweight shrine
of soul and chants
tear off the living shadow
of owl’s noiseless wings

with all the grace we will
appease bright feebleness
when from the bottom of the prophecies
rises seraphim

right from your hand the moon
takes off again as bird
over the harp of rain
the ethers of the rhyme keep humming

the silence shall illume –
achieved a hundredfold –
it reaches with the fire bliss
and quenches once again.
