In Waiting / Poem by Tanni Bose

Poem by Tanni Bose

In Waiting

God’s design is ever never-ending miracle
Thus the ever changing world thrives
On the way to earth from his warm lap
Feeble, deserted, gloomy
Yet sheltered beneath the warmth of pervasive sun
Living a compelling life of battling race
Dramatically animated, repudiating, acquiescent
All accumulation of calculative gain and loss
Only to depart to the creator
With all gathering of virtue and vice
Yet again in God’s lap- resting
For the tedious journey endured
He cuddles, embraces and rejuvenates our tired soul
