It was a new dream / Poem by Aziz Mountassir

Poem by Aziz Mountassir

It was a new dream

It was a dream
From the autumn leaves.
Yellow.
Like silence.
From that little thing.
Like a butterfly.
From a night without meaning
Blunt
He dies in the years.
In the sad waiting horizon
It was a dream
From a revealing shadow.
Don’t protect me from heat.
Spring longing
From Death you don’t understand
Eyes eyes
From a life not like the others.
It was warm winter.
He lives in my shadow.
He doesn’t respond to your lives.
When I remembered.
It was my happy land dreams.
And when I forgot,
He became a killjoy.
My breath.
That was built in the past.
And her perfume was lost in a vacuum.
Sorry.
You’re breathtaking.
My EX-wife is awake.
After deception
Alone I
What a dream.
Vanished with my waiting.
