Poems by Myriam Ghezail Ben Brahim
Caprices of love
Love is madness
Love is whimsical
Alone, a heart in love
Can enjoy its delights
It embellishes life
it softens death
Oh! What I want
To live it again
To love strongly
Rightly or wrongly
To the last breath
To life, to death
To my desires
To my desires
The most buried
Challenge fate
To mock the fate
It would be futile
To claim to be human
Without having tasted love
To his happiness
To his grief
There is no beautiful death
Than to die in his divine arms
An endless death
At the pace of a soft hug….

If I could just
If I could fly away
To find myself
A thousand places
Maybe to the heavens
In the middle of the stars, resting
Touch and enjoy their beauty
Drink from another reality
Away from the earth filled with cruelty
If I could live
In an imaginary world
Where the bitter and suicidal taste
Unnatural relationships
Is only a view of the mind
Because not being part of
Of the batch of tears
Lived in society
If I could live
In this peaceful world
Where love makes you drunk
Where all are kind
Where the word I love you
Who is the most employed
Sweeps away the problems very far
Where the word hate is prohibited
If I could modify
Core components
Redo them efficiently
I would have put less pain in it
Closed the gaps of fear
Closed the valves of the resentment
Enhanced the color of softness
Refine the features of happiness
If I could……………
For lack of power…………
I am accommodating with hope…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
That one day this world will be redone………
