Poems by Rajashree Mohapatra

Poems by Rajashree Mohapatra

A TOUCH ON THE CURVES

Beyond the lakes
The mountain echos …

In the garden of love
A soft breeze whispers …

Fragrant verses , wind sings
Dreamy cherries bloom to swing .

Eyes shine when sound meets silence
In a shady space , in distant heaven .

Soft souls are in tender twist
Luring streams under blue skies.

Waist beads rattle when love is in air
Curves dazzle in glory and dancing bare .

Now our hearts cast a humid light
Over the far hills , singing a serene beauty.

Sweet dews make our wings wet
We are caught in a silken net .

Love shines on eternal moon.
Fire in radiant eyes , a glow of June.

Dancing boughs stretch their arms
Drifting away the souls with charms .

A sweet song sing every dancing heart
Brushes with colours touch my art .

UNTOUCHED…

Untouched
Unknown
I flow far away from your sight
In a blind valley
Perhaps away from your light.

Lofty waves on me
Yet to wash you
Love I radiate
Yet to shower you
Heart murmurs
Yet to melt you .

I aim forward
Not to lose my way
Widen my thoughts
To keep me awake
I stretch my arms
To merge in you .

You are the ocean of wisdom
Souls crave to rest
Abode of heavenly freedom
I am wandering in quest.
