Delight – Irena Ewa Idzikowska / Translated by: Artur Komoter

Poem  by Irena Ewa Idzikowska

Delight

you were delighted
the rose was looking
in the mirror of my eyes
I took over the rose by sight
and the ocean of your eyes

you were delighted
with me blooming with roses
with our eyes meeting
a bridge for the rose garden
and satiation for the eyes
