ABSENCE – Alicia Minjarez Ramirez / Translation: Marcel Kemadjou Njanke.

Poem by Alicia Minjarez Ramirez

ABSENCE

You are parti
Like the rain,
After devastated
The Naked Valley.

Your name under the leaves
Who fly with the wind,
The the worms
Its useless tessitura
At an unfavourable time.

I keep going without hearing
The seven letters
Who build
ton absence.

It’s not a night…
And the language of the sun,
Is already not the same.

Translation: Marcel Kemadjou Njanke
