THIS LOVE
This love between you and me
Is so necessary as is life:
we don’t know when it began
nor where he wants to go
nor what is its strength.
This love between you and me
is as heavy as an anchor:
we do not know why it sinks
nor what supports it
nor where it leads.
This love between you and me
it’s a downpour
we don’t know where it comes from
nor from what it is brought
nor because it blooms.
This love between you and me
is so necessary as is life
is heavy as is an anchor
it cries like the rain.
