Poem by Jagdish Prakash
Beyond ten commandments of Moses
Is eleventh, mine
Written on the tablet of emotions, raw and unscratched
tended by the cool morning breeze,
And warm smile of baby sun.
It is my poem
pure as gossamer,
Free from virtues and sins
Its words, transparent like a Himalayan stream
Stanzas soaked in smiles.
I have nothing to confess, nothing to own or disown
Silence is my witness spread over the bird song
Who took his flight into an unknown sky!
