The Word Crossed The Silence ( KATA-KATA MEMECAH KESUNYIAN) – Jeton KELMENDI / Translated into BAHASA MELAYU by Siti Ruqaiyah HASHIM

Poem by Jeton KELMENDI

The Word Crossed The Silence

I am accustomed yesterday
To speak a little
I am full with the respiration of sadness
In the most remote areas
Of your eyes
Since long ago I begun to arriveFrom you
To speak silently to you
To confess in you
For you
And for me

Yesterday I thought
To say to you
That you are
The bread of the verses
The water of the word
Me for you
The most sung song
Of all ages

Yesterday I wanted to be quiet
To talk a little
To become a shadow
To cover the Sun light
I wanted
To trespass
All maliciousness of
The whole humanity

Yesterday I saw
How I can be discovered again
From you
How can I
Be found again
From you
Early or later
Yesterday
I have struggled
To become happy most of the time.

KATA-KATA MEMECAH KESUNYIAN

Kelmarin aku cukup biasa
Bercakap sedikit
Aku dipenuhi nafas kesedihan
Di daerah paling terpencil
pada pandangan mu

Sejak lama dulu aku mula sampai
Dari mu
Untuk bercakap perlahan-lahan kepada mu
Untuk mengaku kepada mu
Untuk diri mu
Dan untuk diri ku

Kelmarin ku fikir
Mahu berkata kepada mu
Bahawa engkaulah
Makanan utama dalam bait-bait puisi ku
Minuman kepada kata-kata-ku

Aku kepada mu
Adalah lagu yang sering dinyanyikan
Sepanjang hayat

Kelmarin aku mahu senyap
Bercakap sedikit sahaja
Menjadi bebayang
Yang menutupi cahaya mentari

Aku mahu
Melewati
Semua kekejaman
Seluruh kemanusiaan

Kelmarin ku lihat
Aku boleh dijumpai semula
Oleh mu
Cepat ataupun lambat
Kelmarin
Aku bergelut mencari bahagia sepanjang masa
