An Altar’s Offering / Poem by Leonard Dabydeen

Poem by Leonard Dabydeen

An Altar’s Offering

An altar’s offering in divine solace
Pranam to our Universal Oneness
Our colours magnifying subtle pleasure
Beauty and delight so bountiful
Without shreds of hate or anger
Where the pandemic leaves you with a mask
To save lives not merely your own
These flowers plucked from my garden
I gift to you in my pooja paradise
Singing mantras and bhajans
Wishing that you be blessed
That you stay well
That you are peaceful
That you’re always a friend
Of a friend, of a friend
In sanctity, with faith and trust.

  1. THANKS, Dear Friend Agron Shele for posting my pooja poem, An Altar’s Offering, here in ATUNIS GALAKTICA POETRY. Wish it was possible to add the photos. But much appreciated.
    Respect
