Poem by Sunita Paul

Poem by Sunita Paul
Love is that rain
Which showers on me time and again
To quench my soul’s thirst
It is an outburst
Of my hidden emotions
It’s like a passionate poetry in motion
Sometimes love rains along with thunder
At times it’s torrential when I surrender
Emotions when frozen, rain like snow
Leaving an iced heart without it’s glow
Love generally showers like an all season’s rain
The heartbreaks are like droughts or floods with a devastating pain
But then love rains on me and keeps me evergreen
Makes me feel on top of the world and I rule over like a Queen
