Poems by Masudul Hoq

Poems by Masudul Hoq
Shipon sari
Blue shipon sari
Run after the sea being wrapped with you
Somewhere in the body
Islands, hills and agitated rivers
As soon as you come close,
I bathe in the spring water, the sea!
Wearing the striped shirt,
As soon as I stand near the girls’ school,
My two hands
Turn into legs
Lifting the tail on four legs
I often jump
Coming to the road crossing
A few zebras
Lying on the back of a black pitch
An unknown path through the forest
Now occupied by the metropolis
