Poem by Natalia Govsha

SCETCH

I couldn’t sleep last night …
And haven’t light a fire …

The window trembled
with vibration from the outside,

reflected in the misty
specularity of the lanterns …

Inside – farther in the depths,
through the dark void
torn by the glare,

there the charcoal ran
faster along
the white nude sheet …

He was afraid
not to have time to fall
into the harmony of passions

between the ghostly muse
and the poor heart, crying to her …
