SHADOWS / Poem by Ibrahim Honjo

Poem by Ibrahim Honjo

SHADOWS

Shadows are walking
On deserted streets
Shadows
In their arms
They carry
Barefoot children
Young
And almost dried
Shadows
Where are shadows going
Shadows are going to nothingness
With the last salvo of stillness
I join them
As a sign of protest
Against barbarism
