THIS VIRULENT TIME

The virulent time
stands
in a queer look
and its chariot ready
to dart like the
lightening……

It makes fun of
human predicaments
waltzing
across the sky
and trawling
around
tumultuous
ripples of destiny.

As a persistent companion
it appears
like a terrifying wind
accompanied by swarming dragonflies
romping across
pervasive darkness.

This ruthless time beckons
trudging climbers across hills
pretending to show path
but stares
every bend glaring
like petrified onlooker
from the
amphitheater in muse.

Let’s play with this time
Being conscious of its trick
Lest it would extend its claws
Before we know its prick !

WE HAVE NOT HAMMER TO BREAK THEM

We can break walls
Erected on any landscapes
And made of bricks or stones
By crafty masons
Or laborious workmen
Even designed by qualified engineers
Or inspected by painstaking inspectors
For years and years.

But we we cannot break walls
Made of our surmounting egos
And nefarious jealousy
Carved with stones of hatred and envy
And cemented by distrust and animosity.

Let’s break these walls if we can
But they are so tall
And we have no hammers
That we could easily crush.
These walls crushed our forefathers
And we may not be spared
