THE WALL OF BREATH / Poem by Dr. Jernail S. Aanand

THE WALL OF BREATH

Between me
And the wastes
Lies a thin wall of breath

The walls have a double personality
A rugged exterior
With a loving inside

A child is dribbling
With a ball
In a vast background sown with bombs

He asked mom to bite
The apple,
How treacherous was its taste

For whom is this show
This stage management
They (gods) are not idiots, do you know?

Do your words sync with your eye
And your body with your words
No? You are a demon.
