PERCEPTION / Poem by Eliza Annette (Cybil)

Poem by Eliza Annette (Cybil)
With every scar that you gained
You learned to fall and rise again
Every wound that was left behind
Reminds you of your lessons learned
As you answer the questions of today
Many more will rise and make you say
Do I really know, Who am I?
What will I become?
Looking back on those moments of calm,
Staring into the roaring ocean
Listening to the first bird song
Of a new dawn on the horizon
I see you find the strength
To push through yet another challenge
You’re Willing to take on the world,
To stand tall and say
This is me
I am here
And I will thrive
Over and over to the end of my days!
