SILENCE AND ME / Poem by Marija Najthefer Popov

Poem by Marija Najthefer Popov
They took me tonight
They loved silence
I have no hope
They deceived for a long time
By delusion
It was only heard
Departing train
Woman with reservation
In the hand
As a hope
Do not speak
And he senses
They took me tonight
Promised silence
Of course
They are not longing either
They glowed for a long time
Blood flow
It was only heard
Church bells
The bell
That same woman
With faith
As a source of life
Do not speak
Nothing more
No idea
That was
The last train
They took me tonight
They left words
Of course
Not a whisper for long
He didn’t speak
It was only heard
All hope is broken
A woman resolutely
In complete silence
Heavy door
Behind you
They stopped waiting
With his strength
And I
With yourself
With each other
We sense the answer
