The wind is from the northeast (רוּחַ צְפוֹנִית מִזְרָחִית) – Poem by Elder Akhadov / Translated into Hebrew by Shoshana Vegh

Poem by Elder Akhadov

The wind is from the northeast

We won’t see you again
Not on the edge of the blue lagoon,
Not under the wing of the night sky,
Not on a clear day among a crowd of people,
Neither in social networks, nor in life, nor in a dream
You won’t tell me anything else…
But an invisible eye of memory
Will be draughting to my heart
like a wind from the northeast.
