Until Our Encounter
I will be a mermaid
You will be a captain
Saving me from my muteness
Building me a sandcastle
I will give you my treasures
I want to sail to you
To cross the ocean of fire
To break all of the boundaries
You shall be sure
That I’m with you all the time
I shall take all of you
And yet, I cannot see
This shore
That rises to the land
Sacred mermaid
One day I will come
In the air, I will not be in deep waters
I will not be at a distance
One day you’ll come
You promised
That we wouldn’t die until our encounter.
עד שניפגש
אֶהְיֶה בַּת הַיָּם
וְאַתָּה תִּהְיֶה רַב הַחוֹבֵל
תַּצִּיל אוֹתִי מֵאִלְּמוּתִי
תִּבְנֶה לִי אֶת אַרְמוֹן הַחוֹל
וְאֶתֵּן לְךָ אֶת אוֹצְרוֹתַי
אֲנִי רוֹצָה לָשׁוּט אֵלֶיךָ
לַחֲצוֹת אֶת יַם הָאֵשׁ
לַחְדֹּר אֶת הַקִּירוֹת
וְלִפְרֹץ אֶת הַגְּבוּלוֹת
תִּהְיִי בְּטוּחָה
אֲנִי אִתָּךְ כָּל הַזְּמַן
אֶת כֻּלֵּךְ אֶקַּח
וַעֲדַיִן אֵינִי רוֹאָה
אֶת הַחוֹף הַזֶּה
שֶׁמַּעֲלֶה אֶל הַיַּבָּשָׁה
בַּת יָם קְדֻשָּׁה
יוֹם אֶחָד אָבוֹא
בָּאֲוִיר לֹא אוּכַל יוֹתֵר לַמְּצוּלוֹת
לֹא אוֹכֵל יוֹתֵר לַמֶּרְחָקִים
יוֹם אֶחָד תָּבוֹא
הִבְטַחְתָּ
לֹא נָמוּת לִפְנֵי שֶׁנִּפָּגֵשׁ
