THE WATER TAO
There’s always a lime tree
That shelters my life
I hold it in my arms
Starts a slow yoga practice
Breathing deeply
Stretching sweetly
Balance on one leg
I want to forget everything too
Like you
Reduce myself to summer roses
To the sky
To the earth
To the trunk of that tree
Melt into a chameleon
In a morning landscape
Exposed by the light
Whoever we are
We will pass like the wind
Light straw
Gone
One more love
One more oath, a soft water
That glides over the skin
Ephemeral and common
In this human story
Dotted with disasters
Siamese twins
Discreet fires
Among them.
