Alone, but not lonely

I am enjoying this glass of loneliness
I don’ t feel sad to be alone.
If it rains, I will write a few romantic verses.
I do not need an umbrella
To hide away from the rain.
I am loving this catch of time.
My steps are not tired
I saw a smile on your lips.
I got a chain of satisfaction
Which your smile brought.
Hours can be metamorphosed to years
Eternity can sleep beneath my soul.
I might stoop and my steps might tremble.
No old age can stop from teaching me
The lesson to be myself.
Today, there is a time ticking
I do not drown my memories in vain.
The cure from this loneliness that I love
Has never been found.
I hope not to miss being alone.

Measuring the World

I have stopped killing the shadows
I have stopped calling the darkness black
My days have stopped to become nights
I am uplifting the task of fortune
My desires are wild and I cannot tame them
Take away these extra glasses
I do not need them to see the better world.
I have known the world to be better
In my desires and fortunes.
I have measured the world
With my efforts.
Come be the glory of accomplish
Do not leave your task empty
Do not call the darkness black
It is not a void
That can’ t be filled.
Measure not your conscience
But put one more strike mark of success.
To be yourself is a true lesson, but
Stepping out of one’ s self
Is a dear lesson.
Meet the chorus in a song
When you start to sing.
At the end of the day
It is all your efforts
That the world sees.
