THE SECRET OF HIS OVERWHELMING LOVE

When they asked him about the secret of his overwhelming love for his wife, he said without hesitation:
I love her because she is a angel from the mortal world
I love her because she is a breeze from the paradise of eternity
I get jealous if I blink, because it deprives me from seeing her
I get tired of sleeping, because it blocks me from her
She says to me what I like to hear
She hears from me what I like to say
I know my flaws, but she does not see them
The imperfection in me is complemented by her consent
In her eyes, I am that noble knight riding on the back of a white horse
In her eyes, I do not rule but I am the king
She is the keeper of my secrets, my forgetfulness, and my joy
She stands beside me when I am happy
She stands beside me when I am sad
In both cases, she is grateful and thankful
If I am tired of the world, it is enough for me that she is in it
She preserves me when I am absent and preserves herself
She is perfumed with the ablution water
Her eyes are blessed by reading in the holy books
Her tongue is clean because she usually thanks God
Her heart is sweet because she is faithful and humble
Her palm is compassionate from the too many praises
Her cheeks shine with light because she has crying eyes
If she lies down and gets up, she is as the sun has risen
If she kneels and straightens up, she is as a flower grows in the garden of my heart
As a result, I can say that she is not my other half, but rather the two halves together.
