I am sure, many would know me and many may not but for the sake of clarity and posterity, I have loved to introduce myself. I am TIMILEYIN GABRIEL OLAJUWON, born in the early 90’s at Iree, Osun State, Nigeria – Western region of Africa. So many a time, I have thought that, would my knowledge about Doc Penpen and his PENTASI B, the mere gauge to become one? But penitently, I shall forever be, if I refuse to talk about the love I have received so far from this family.

With much ado on nothing, Hubert H. Humphrey said and I quote ” The greatest gift of life is friendship and I have received it”… I can proudly say in my spirit that through Doc Penpen and the kind hearted people of PENTASI B, I have received the greatest gift of life which is Friendship.

PENTASI B, a group of poets, artists and writers which hopes to bring together like minded residents of the world is a family to which I have received love in abundance. I cannot even imagine where I would be today if not for the handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy.

Meeting Doc Penpen in August 2013 was not by accident but a stamp of fate. He immensely impacted into my life with his courageous and inspiring words… A times when I am heart broken and bug into his box, Father (as I always call him), he responded truly like a father. No wonder, his PENTASI B family is now a rising star among stars..

Furthermore, I would not forget friends like Neneth Ramiro Rondera, Romeo De Villa, Roy Mark Azanza, Maria Miragilia, Oswald Oketie, Kolade Olanrewaju Freedom, and my brother man Benjamin Nii Oku and many more I cannot mention here which I have met in this family… Thank you for the love and affection.

Some few more words to express my deep thanks to Doc Penpen, The Father of Visual Poetry, for his willingness to bring the PENTASI B World Friendship Celebration to the soil of Africa. Likewise, I want to thank my brother Benjamin Nii Oku for spearheading and organizing the event in Ghana. It is a great achievement and wealthy blessings for Ghana and Africa… I wish you success and God’s blessings and I promise my full support.

GHana Must Go 2016

God bless Ghana

God bless Nigeria

God bless all Africa

God bless all poets, artists and writers in the World.

I have started to sow

Since when I no -nothing

Until now that I know

How to plant bold; seed of good deeds

I have lived on the land

Where afflictions taste like sweet

I live in the land

Where cry pours like rain

I have been beating

With the cane of bitterness

In this life of wilderness

Where I run after life

Like madman chasing nothing

I started with a step

And then a mile

Now, i make a thousand miles

Planting the seed of my good deeds

For my generations to reap the fruits

Where is the page of life?

Let me write my days on it’s stage

What story shall be told of my existence to my kin?

Of what shall be the tales?

When I have ceased to live and breathe

When I would have died in peace

To the world; I say by – gone

It is time, yes I am done

And when the sun

Shall cease to shine on my path

When death shall close my eyes

I shall not be ashame of death

That I shall not be a shame

Yes! This is my aim

I have come to make name

Selfless of riches and fame

I shall not be a shame to my generation

I will live even when dead.
