“Feathers of Silence” a collaborative project of Eden Soriano Trinidad ( Philippines) and Mohammad Mohi Uddin (Bangladesh)
“Feathers of Silence” is a collaborative project of Eden Soriano Trinidad, the country of the Philippines, and Mohammad Mohi Uddin, the country of Bangladesh. It’s a collection of poems published by Imagery Publication, Bangladesh, 2021.
Both poets are meditative carrying metaphysical essence.
The title of the anthology itself is a manifesto of the poets’ insight. Poetry is an outcome of long meditative silence and feathers are the sign of a messenger. Eden and Mohi have tried to spread their meditative thought originated from silence with the symbolic feathers of a bird.
Thus the title covers the motto of the project and portrays a wide range of philosophy of human consolation.
The thematic concerns and literary devices are connected very well in the anthology. Hopefully, the readers of the world would celebrate the beauty of the use of authors’ simile, metaphor, symbol, imagery, hyperbole, conceit, and so on.
Both poets speak of human peace and spiritual existence on earth. The themes of the anthology are the glorification of pastoral life, human friendship, peace, philanthropy, anti-capitalism, metaphysic, and eco sensation.
