Poem by Syedah Maryam Iqbal
Shadowing one with dominance—
Taking advantage of Nature’s benevolence,
To injure one by eclipsing his repute—
Is not only done by the sun and the moon,
But many earthlings considering themselves immune
To any future eclipses chasing their perfume.
As time allows an opportunity to every soul—
To overpower the eclipser’s role,
To take advantage of Nature’s favors—
Just by gathering the perfume chasers
To make an army of sufferers—
To punish the blunderers.
