Poem by Asoke Kumar Mitra
WORDLESS MEMORIES…
The setting sun and the memory of a river
Darkness setting in as a private wound
On this lazy evening, shadows grow
In the raven’s wings
Waters sing, endless song of impotent dreams
Waves are endless, memories often fade
Insane water unbuttons wordless memories
Sleeping within like a nameless river…
Footprints of you crush the dusk in my eyes
Your long hair into the wordless memories…
