her
breast
skies
engulfed
her
sun
moon
sparkled
smothered
her
amnesia he touched….

BRUISED HOPE
I remain a wooden silhouette
transfixed on an arid chair
a walled mind yet bruised
flowing ever in cascading blood
my indigo injuries merge
with dark secrets of the midnight
the graffiti etched in my heart
with perfidious nails of love
I remain your trophy ever
adorned in static display
my pulsations stiffened in
the cage of my dreams
though bludgeoned in blue red imprints
the velvety soul flutters
waits to wing away
to distant lands of hope
a lighthouse in my mind…
