The Harshness of Silence
The world fragments
we kneel to pray
Praying to be heard in the harshness of silence
Awaken you dispirited ones whose silence echoes loud and loud
Change hearts of mankind
exume humanity’s brave buried as cast off remains
the detritus of tragic loss
Do words echo in an empty place
deep in the abyss
are they even heard by the God of all
is this the silence before the fall
Gather all voices into the circle of humanity’s choir
we await the sound of your sweet harmony
There are trials that lie before us
the core of humanity trembles
the goal yet evermore
embraced
by our stalwart stubborn inner core …………
