I would like to

Today, all over the world, I want peace
I want people not to be broken, to survive
All the sounds of guns, I want to be silent forever
Instead of soldiers, I want a doctor
Today I want peace

Today I want peace in my homeland
I’m sorry, I want a wedding
Our girls, I want to be a bride
I want the springs to boil and be cool
Today I want peace.

Today I have peace in my hands
I want my cities to grow and prosper
I want our children to laugh today
I want them to grow up in a prosperous country
Today I want peace.
