Poem by Sihem Cherif

Poem by Sihem Cherif
Strewn into the wilderness
A cozy cabin and some tress
Greeting the day with happiness
Recalling the flare of a summer breeze
I want to take thee there
Ride a sled and have fun
Beauty hovers everywhere
Let ‘s mingle with the beaming sun
soaking in melodious snow
seeking the heat from the bare trunks
To the mercy of silence, we bow
The eye glares and the heart sinks
we may then go inside
Peeping from the sparkling l window
to passion ‘s ardent laws we bide
with such a setting love shall grow
That ‘s the dwelling of my dreams
lost in a smearing forest
witnessing ice that beams
No better place for a rest
