Poem by Sabrina Young

Mercy whispers
at the end ,

A blinded Kneel
On The
takes a smothered
death in the street …

Eyes can see life
Escape his

Listen not

Ashamed to share
The skin
That took this
Life …

Nothingness we are
absent of love
with blackened
Hearts …

Still , I try to
how one can
walk with blood on
their hands

Rage pours from
swollen eyes
Life it be not
Precious to souls
Turned to stone

Hate has won
Once again
with prejudice
Minds that set
The tone
