Street lights / Poem by Sunita Paul

Street lights

The street light
That night
When we last met
Unknown fate
That wooden seat
My fast heart beat
The silent cry
Impossible goodbye
Your last embrace
Showering kisses all over my face
Darkness still
The silence that kill
Down memory lanes
Comes again and again
