Poem by Fahad Uchchwas
On Rainy Night
Night is courting, kissing in Rains
The dark is letting my nose feel the smell
The bed shackles us in gentle chains
Our blissful tale this room wants to tell.
At this hour we are sprinkled and wet
The window drenches us and we can feel
Scars and bristles that are never late
These rain droops fuel this carnal zeal.
These tinking droops play heavenly sound
And make us our sorrows forget
This moment we sought but barely found
Fear we not to be thunder’s target.
In this night still you ignore to sing
Withers your youth amidst the spring.
