Messenger / Poem by Olfa Philo

Poem by Olfa Philo

Messenger

They say she is a terrorist;
wherever she shows up,
she entails victims of her love…

They say she is a pivot;
around her vibes,
hearts and souls helplessly wheel …

They say she is a murderer;
whoever meets her deep eyes
is shot dead…

They say she is a magnet;
whoever touches her
can hardly ever leave her…

They say she is a sorcerer;
whoever inhales her smell
becomes haunted by her image day & night…

They say she is contagious
whoever grasps her thoughts
starts thinking differently…

They say she is an angel;
whoever perceives her,
initiates a spiritual journey…

They wonder: “She must be a messenger of God in its modern version…”
