This lovely poem is greatly and dexterously written by a phenomenal poetess, Cynthia Gentile. In her poem entitled, _”YOU”_ as a romantic poem, there are awesome elements of poetry which is extremely built her poem with great simile as well as metaphor. The motifs of this poem will everlastingly be intrigued many poetry lovers because of lovable ideas as well as brilliant imaginaries that is really made her poem to be sweeter than sweetest. And her choice of words are very consummate.

The inception of this poem is opening with cognizant words, “You already know…” as the only way of reminding her lover that she verisimilarly love and adore her lover. And it is strongly delving and showing the deepness and appearance of her lovability for her lover respectively. The line which is serving as an evidence of her awesome idea (line 1):

“You already know, I love and adore you”

On line number 7 and 8….,
“Millions prayer and hope for the love we share”
“No one are blessed as we are”.
These lines are apparently exhibiting that their relationship is being in strong consciousness with a countless prayer as well as hope that always bless them than others.

This poem is purely spiced up with wonderful lines of having simile and metaphor. This simile and metaphor is found on the line 9 and 10 respectively. The following lines are serving as an evidence of this profound idea:

“You, age well with time like a fine wine”
“Your heart is so beautiful angels become envious”.

Again, on line 10 there is amazing meaning from the ending of its line. The poet has used these words, “…_become envious_…” intentionally. It means your hearts sometimes become envious because, in every edifice of love there is a jealousy that sometimes helps to shine the relationship of desiring the excellence and good fortune to their love.

From line number 12 to 18 there is a great theme of wondrous romanization. It is truly giving us a pristine smile when we read her poem. Excerpts are follows:

Our hearts touch, reside in my soul.
This amazing feeling breaks me down causing me to dip down into emotions with your words.
You’ve built me into words which reconfigured me to be stronger by hugging me , touching my face and whispering “I love you “.
You’ve assured you will love me always.
This sweetness gives me courage.
I know you love me.
I love you too
